What to expect
Fantastic landscapes of Tenerife
In the beginning of the journey, we will visit the cozy town of Santiago del Teide. Here, you will hear a wonderful legend of how the locals managed to save it from the approaching boiling lava with fervent prayers. You will enjoy the vibrant local colors and exquisite architecture. Next, we will head towards the picturesque village of Masca, where pirates used to reside. The road to it is something extraordinary: giant slopes resembling dormant volcanoes, mountains, winding turns, canyons, and ascents like a roller coaster.
Cape Teno and the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes
After a walk through the idyllic village, we will make our way to the westernmost part of the island - Cape Teno. A real volcanic tunnel, featured in one of the scenes of the movie 'Fast & Furious 6', will lead us to the famous towering cliffs of Los Gigantes. They truly rise like giants from the depths of the ocean and stretch towards the sky. If the weather permits, you can also take a swim in a bay with the purest azure water nearby.
Gastronomic delights of Tenerife
The wine capital of the island Icod de los Vinos will reveal to you the taste of local delicacies: wines and cheeses that the locals are so proud of. Moreover, you will see the legendary thousand-year-old Dragon tree - a symbol of resilience and steadfastness. You will stroll through the ancient streets and enjoy the local lively atmosphere. Lastly, I will take you to a viewpoint overlooking the town of Garachico and narrate its dramatic history.
