About this experience
Muftar Street is always buzzing with activity: wine tastings, perfume presentations, folklore dances, barrel organ concerts, political operettas, flash mobs, art exhibitions - you never know what you might stumble upon. Even without these events, the street itself is an adventure story filled with mystery, hypnosis, hidden treasures, bricked doors, underground rivers, sadomasochism, and street art!
What to Expect
Muftar Street is pure enjoyment in the most consumerist sense. Dozens of affordable yet delightful entertainments await at every corner. We will immerse ourselves in the scent of chocolate, admire wooden dolls and collectible figurines of French comic book heroes, try some obligatory Parisian fast food, sip on ginger lemonade, explore the traces of Muftar's ancient history and its freshest attractions - new cafes, hookah lounges, concept stores, and graffiti. If we're lucky, we'll participate in a session of 'Parisian relaxation' by Andre Shukrun or dance to the accordion. We'll visit a place of ancient cult and note down the address of a bar that serves vanished types of alcohol - spiced wine, mead, and absinthe.
No matter how short your visit to Paris is, make sure to allocate an hour for Muftar. You can take a stroll down this amazing street by yourself, and it will remain in your memories as a kaleidoscope of charming cafes and interesting shops. Or you can do it in my company, and then it will be remembered as a kaleidoscope of Parisian legends, stories, characters, original things, and picturesque personalities. Because Muftar Street is like an elaborate antique bauble of uncertain purpose: beautiful on its own, but imagine if you knew how to use it! I - know. I will help you find the most unconventional souvenirs, genuinely engage with history, and compile a gastronomic address book for further independent exploration.
