About this experience
Montmartre, Eiffel Tower, Disneyland - think the French capital is only famous for these sights? Get ready to see Paris unknown to tourists: you will visit luxurious settings of ancient galleries and unravel the stories and mysteries of places where fashion and history intertwine.
What awaits you
Discovering another Paris: a walk through galleries and passages
I have prepared an unusual route for you. It will include:
- Galerie Vivienne - the most beautiful of all existing in the city. You will learn which brand opened its first store here and admire the magnificent mosaic.
- Galerie Colbert, where not a single boutique remains. I will tell you when the gallery appeared and how it is connected with the French composer Berlioz.
- Passage Jouffroy, hiding the entrance to one of the city's establishments.
- Galerie Vero-Dodat - walking here, you will understand which god it is dedicated to and who built it.
- Passage des Princes, where we will find hidden boutiques and talk about how it appeared during the difficult times of Baron Osman's rule.
In addition, you will visit other equally interesting galleries and passages. And between transitions, I will show you the landmarks of Paris: the Madeleine church and the Place de la Concorde, the Tuileries gardens and the Palais Royal, the Opera and part of the Marais district. If desired, we will stop for a cup of coffee to relax and discuss what we have seen.
