Gastro-Historical Stroll in the Heart of Paris

What and where you will taste

• Croissants: we will stop at an ancient bakery for fresh and aromatic pastries
• Pancakes with foie gras under a glass of wine: we will have a casual picnic on the parvis of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Paris with special seating
• Frog legs on the banks of the Seine with a view of Notre Dame. This is also a traditional spot where wishes are made.
• Products from an atmospheric local market. Cheeses, spices, Dijon mustard, mmm… You will also taste the rare Normandy cheese Neufchâtel with a romantic history. And then, if you wish, a couple of oysters and wine—accompanied by a tale of the role of these sea treasures in French gastronomy.
• Lunch in an old tavern. Like D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers, we will continue to explore French cuisine: you will be treated to a favorite aperitif of Marie Antoinette, cheese fondue, braised beef in red wine, an assortment of cheeses, and Burgundian snails.
• And for dessert, of course, dessert! In the pastry shop, you will taste sweets that the French have loved since medieval times: almond candies, crispy meringues, and classic chocolate.

Our Route

• We will meet in one of the most beautiful places in Paris—on the Town Hall Square
• We will visit the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral and stroll along the Seine embankment, and from the bridge, enjoy views of the Conciergerie castle and the Saint-Louis island
• Then, as planned, the farmer's market
• We will walk through the Latin Quarter and visit the Gothic church of Saint-Severin with delightful stained-glass windows and 12th-century chimera
• Lunch at the tavern and the finale in the pastry shop
