About the organizer
I am a journalist, living and working in Paris since 2010. As is customary for people of my profession, I tendentiously select facts and interpret them incorrectly. I eagerly collect quarterly gossip, cozy up to real estate agents, befriend homeless people and diplomats, and gain the trust of municipal employees for insider information. I dig into the extramarital relationships of kings and search for evidence of past high-profile crimes. I gossip, exaggerate, make up stories. And most importantly – I structure all the information I gather into a play-novel, which I then act out myself.
The move made me remember the long-forgotten skill of drawing, and now in my free time from writing, I earn extra money by illustrating for magazines and books, making postcards, and doing sketches.
In Russia, I have published two books – 'How to Live with a Frenchman?' and 'Having Children with a Frenchman'. They amused many people, but for me, writing them was the best adaptation therapy. Because no matter what anyone says, living in a foreign country is a challenge. I miss my fellow countrymen and always sincerely enjoy meeting them. We always have something to laugh about together :)
