About this experience
I invite you to take a walk through the young Orestad district, where stars of world architecture have worked. You will see a building where you can ride a bike to the upper floors, a nursing home with a cheerful facade, a school with a rooftop playground, and one of the most original student dormitories in the world.
What to Expect
Futuristic Orestad
You will explore three striking residential complexes designed by the BIG architectural bureau: the famous 'Eight,' VM Houses, and the 'Mountain House.' You will also visit the southern campus of the University of Copenhagen, see the unusual 'round' dormitory, a modern concert hall, a stadium, and the original Bella Sky Hotel tower.
Interesting Facts and Driverless Metro
While exploring Orestad, you will learn about the principles guiding Danish architects, hear about life in Scandinavia, and discover where to find a monument to Pushkin in Copenhagen. You will also enjoy beautiful views of the entire district from the windows of the modern automatic driverless metro system.
