About this experience
Incredibly fragrant and very hearty, lagman Uzbek-style is a versatile dish. It can be served as a soup or as fried noodles with meat gravy, vegetables, and herbs. At the master class, you will learn how to cook both variations of the dish. And then you will sit down at a beautifully set table to taste your debut lagman.
What to expect
- The master class will take place in a traditional guest house
- The hostess will explain in detail how to cook the national Uzbek dish
- She will show in practice how to knead the dough, pull long strips out of it, and make thin noodles from them
- Then you will turn into chefs yourself and cook two types of lagman from beef—a hearty soup and fried noodles in a meat sauce
- And then you will sit with the hosts at a table set with a dastarkhan to enjoy your first self-prepared lagman
