About this experience
On a comfortable car, we will explore Montenegro through picturesque roads. You will enjoy the waters of the Boka-Kotor Bay and Lake Piva, marvel at the beautiful nature of Durmitor Park, visit one of the largest bridges in Europe, and enter a monastery carved into the rock. You will get to know the country better and understand its character.
What to expect
Boka-Kotor Bay and Lake Piva
Along the serpentine of the old road, we will descend to the Boka-Kotor Bay - to the town of Kotor. You will have views of the morning calm water and the coastline.
Next, we will pass through the towns of Risan and Perast, see Lake Piva and the Piva River Canyon. The road runs along the lake shore and the edge of the canyon, carved into the rocks and counting more than 50 tunnels.
Durmitor National Park
We will drive through the central part of the park over passes over 2 km high. Often there is snow in shady places there until early July.
Djurdjevica Bridge
The concrete 5-arch bridge over the Tara River Canyon in the northern part of Montenegro is one of the largest in Europe. Its height is 116 m, length - 365 m. Here you can optionally visit an inexpensive (about 5 euros per person) restaurant overlooking the bridge and the canyon.
Nevidio Canyon
Locals call it Nevidbog. Montenegrin alpinists from Niksic discovered it only in 1965. Before that, the canyon was impassable and unexplored, and all attempts to conquer it ended in failure.
Ostrog Monastery
One of the main attractions of Montenegro and an important world Christian shrine. The monastery is located in the mountains at an altitude of 900 m above sea level, and inside are kept the relics of its founder - Basil of Ostrog.
