About this experience
Madrid is the European champion in the number of bars. But besides the nightlife, there is a rich gastronomic world here that can surprise and delight a diverse audience. Without leaving Madrid, you can make a gastronomic journey through all of Spain, from Malaga to Asturias. My task is to be your guide and show that gastronomy can be very democratic in form and price.
What to Expect
You will start your journey in a completely inconspicuous bar in the Plaza Mayor area, where they make the most delicious calamari sandwich, typical of Madrid cuisine. Then we will try delicacies and wines at the trendiest local market.
Also in the center, there is a restaurant where excellent vermouth has been poured for a hundred years, so beloved by the people of Madrid and even Hemingway himself. For lovers of luxury - a restaurant where dishes are served to the table by opera singers. Not to mention the countless small restaurants of homely Spanish cuisine that are not mentioned in guidebooks.
You will hear the history of the most famous dishes and restaurants, interesting facts about the city's gastronomy, and taste Madrid. Tangy red wine from local wineries, stewed beef with beans and vegetables, squid sandwich, skewered olives, snails - this is all Madrid. In one evening, we will visit several unusual establishments loved by locals, to try the dishes they are famous for.

Organizational Details
The cost of dishes in restaurants is not included in the tour price. The price depends on your preferences and desires, but in my experience, if we talk about the minimum expenses during the tour - for one person it will be about 30-40 euros (2-3 dishes, 2-3 glasses of wine with tapas, coffee with dessert). For two, it turns out to be more economical - 40-50 euros.
