Such places are usually filled with legends. There are plenty here. On a romantic stroll through Albaicin, we will immerse ourselves in a world of fantasy. Beyond the unexpected turn of another alley, an unexpected plot twist in a legend will follow.
During the walk, I will tell you stories about Moors and Christians, about valiant warriors and tender lovers, about smugglers and Moorish treasures, about a cunning weaver and a cunning old woman, a well with sweet water and a black pot, and how all these things are connected with the legendary Albaicin, one of the most famous quarters in Granada.
Our path will lead through the labyrinth of narrow streets of the Albaicin district. Along the way, we will see traces of bygone times and cultures: medieval reservoirs and minarets transformed into bell towers, Catholic churches, and of course, breathtaking views of Granada and the Alhambra!
