About this experience
In Granada, you won't find the typical Spanish landscapes: rocky cliffs, plains, or orange groves. Here, among the lush green hills, bustling streets and narrow cobblestone alleys await you, noisy squares and tranquil parks. Conquering Granada's famous 'three hills and three rivers', you will enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds of the ancient city.
What to Expect
This tour is perfect for those who wish to combine active leisure with immersing themselves in culture and history. We will embark on an easy urban trek through the most beautiful places in Granada. You will see breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its surroundings, as well as learn about local traditions and customs.
- Our route will start on the hill of the Alhambra, where we will admire beautiful views of Granada, enjoying the Nasrid Palaces from above.
- Next, we will follow a path located in front of the Sacromonte district, above the Darro River estuary. Here, we will climb even higher above the Generalife, to be at bird's-eye level.
- Descending down the 13th-century royal waterway, which is a bountiful source of life for the Alhambra, we will continue our tour by ascending to the Sacromonte hill. Here, you will see how the residents of this area live in cave houses.
- Ascending even higher, we will reach the San Miguel Alto viewpoint, where a new batch of breathtaking views will unfold. If we are there in the evening, we will witness a beautiful sunset.
- We will conclude our journey by descending to the San Nicolas viewpoint through the ancient Albayzin district and the alleyways reminiscent of eastern quarters.
- End the walk at a central cafe where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or mint tea.
