You will also walk through the Albaicin district, officially known as 'the repository of the popular Moorish architecture.'

Main attractions in the historic center
From the foundation of the city to the present day - you will learn the most interesting facts about the history of Granada. And the backdrop for the stories will be the iconic landmarks. You will admire the intricate facade of the Cathedral, visit the mausoleum of the Catholic Monarchs Isabella and Ferdinand, see the first university of Granada and learn about its connection to the era of Moorish rule. On a walk through the colorful Arab market Alcaiceria, I will tell you about its similarities with Roman emperors, the secret of its name, and the silk trade. You will also visit the House of Coal and stroll along Granada's main street, Gran Via, admiring its magnificent buildings.
Curvy alleys of Albaicin
The second part of the tour is the oldest district of Granada, whose architectural heritage will introduce you to the Moorish period of medieval Spain. You will learn about archaeological excavations, immerse yourself in the times of the flourishing Arab culture, study the peculiarities of the district's layout, and enjoy the panoramas of Granada - Albaicin is located on the slope of a hill, overlooking the picturesque Darro River.
