About this experience
Kaunas is the second most important city in Lithuania after Vilnius. It will impress you with its rich history, ancient architecture, and a leisurely pace of life. You will see the medieval fortress, Town Hall Square, Freedom Avenue, and other landmarks. I will tell you why Kaunas is called the 'devil's city' and how painting is intertwined with music in it.
What to expect
During a 3.5-hour walk through historical and modern Kaunas, you will:
- Appreciate the 16th-century defensive castle and learn how it protected the city from crusader attacks
- Admire the confluence of Lithuania's largest rivers - the Nemunas and the Neris - and decipher its magical significance
- Visit Town Hall Square and see the 'White Swan' on it
- Explore a secret courtyard with art objects and walk along an alley with sculptures

And also take a ride on the funicular and enjoy the city views from a new perspective!
