What to Expect
Roman city ruins and Smederevo Fortress
We will walk through the medieval Serbian capital - Smederevo Fortress, picturesquely located on the banks of the Danube. We'll talk about the events that took place there, which famous people visited, and how it managed to survive to this day. We will also explore the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Viminacium - one of the most important military camps of its time. We will admire the idyllic Silver Lake and have lunch with a beautiful view.
Djerdap Park and Golubac Fortress
Another iconic place in Eastern Serbia is the grand 14th-century Golubac Fortress, located in Djerdap National Park. It is known for its fantastic nature. We will tell you about the past and present of these places, about kings and princes, about wars and the everyday life of people.
