About this experience
A real adventure awaits young detectives in Venice! I invite children and teenagers to help the police prevent the robbery of the century and learn about the lives of bandits in the Middle Ages. Loud crimes, names of the most famous robbers, and mysterious corners of the maritime capital - the quest will reveal the most unexpected sides of Venice's past.
What to Expect
Untangle the web of mysteries and help the police
Information about an upcoming robbery has been received in the anonymous tip box. The detectives' task will be to find the bandit (or group of robbers) and prevent the crime. With my hints, participants will uncover the truth and save Venice from lawlessness. At the end of the quest, children will discover what the main treasure of the city the criminals tried to steal.
Learn about Venice's dark past and its inhabitants
During the quest, children will not only hear about the most famous robbery but also observe the main attractions. St. Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs, Marco Polo's house, Rialto, the oldest monastery of San Zaccaria, and the Slavic waterfront will be included in the route. I will share stories of famous crimes: the murder of Doge Vitale Michiel and the execution of Marino Faliero. I will explain how the carnival movement originated in the city and reveal the secrets of Venetian masks. In addition, children will be treated to fascinating details from the 'biography' of the maritime capital, local legends, and stories about the life of Marco Polo.
