About this experience
The memory of a stroll through the colorful Porto will stand out from everything else: here you will find the oldest bookstore in Europe, dozens of houses adorned with intricate azulejos tiles, a grand bridge built by Eiffel's colleague, and other features that are unique to Porto! I will show you its important landmarks and hidden corners, become your friend with 1000 and 1 stories about this city of contrasts, and take you to a wine cellar where you will taste the "right" port wine.

Azulejos and city landmarks
In the northern capital of Portugal, medieval buildings decorated with traditional patterns have been beautifully preserved - we will visit many of them and admire the mesmerizing azulejos designs. You will learn about the original purpose of these tiles and other interesting facts about them. Along the way, I will introduce you to the history of the city and its landmarks: we will visit the magnificent church and Clerigos Tower, climb the spiral staircase to the top to enjoy the city panorama, and then head to the park of plane trees - Cordoaria. From there, we will reach the main meeting place for all students of northern Portugal, the Lions' Square. You will discover several more memorable symbols of the city, but more about them on the tour :)
