About this experience
The memory of a stroll through the colorful Porto will stand out from everything else: here you will find the oldest bookstore in Europe, dozens of houses adorned with intricate azulejos tiles, a grand bridge built by Eiffel's colleague, and other features that are unique to Porto! I will show you its important landmarks and hidden corners, become your friend with 1000 and 1 stories about this city of contrasts, and take you to a wine cellar where you will taste the "right" port wine.

Azulejos and city landmarks
In the northern capital of Portugal, medieval buildings decorated with traditional patterns have been beautifully preserved - we will visit many of them and admire the mesmerizing azulejos designs. You will learn about the original purpose of these tiles and other interesting facts about them. Along the way, I will introduce you to the history of the city and its landmarks: we will visit the magnificent church and Clerigos Tower, climb the spiral staircase to the top to enjoy the city panorama, and then head to the park of plane trees - Cordoaria. From there, we will reach the main meeting place for all students of northern Portugal, the Lions' Square.
