About this experience
Our children are curious questioners and explorers. Let's give them the opportunity to get to know Florence and experience its beauty in a fun format - through vivid images and playful tasks. I am a professional guide, educator, and a mother of three sons. I promise that nobody will get bored on a walk with me!
What to expect
By completing interesting tasks and answering engaging questions, you will discover the main places and secret corners of the city. In 2 hours you will:
- Admire the Duomo Cathedral and learn about the challenges of its construction
- Discover how the Florentines dealt with the plague
- Find the portrait of its creator Lorenzo on the Gates of Paradise
- Uncover the connections between the city and Caesar, Giotto, Dante, Michelangelo, and Galileo
- Identify the coat of arms of the powerful Medici on the houses and decipher its meaning
- Make a wish at the fountain, which became a hero of Andersen's fairy tale
- Touch the feats and adventures of mythological heroes
- Imagine how people lived in the narrow medieval towers
- See the palaces of wealthy Florentine families
A small surprise awaits you at the end as a memory of our meeting.
Organizational details
- Upon request, we can take a break for ice cream or sweets at a pastry shop
- The quest is suitable for families with children of all ages: from 5 years old to the teenage period
- Before the tour, it is advisable to discuss the interests and desires of your children
- If the group is larger than 5 people, headsets are required. The additional cost for them will be 15-20€ per group.
