Haftkul: Seven Amazing Lakes

What to expect

Each of the seven lakes has its own name. We will start by introducing you to Lake Nezhigon, then visit the lakes Soya, Gushor, Nofin, Khurdak, the largest of all - Marguzor, and the last one called 'the thousand springs' - Khazorchashma. Almost all the lakes belong to the zaval type. I will tell you what this means and which of the seven is not zaval during the trip. I will also show you ancient petroglyphs found on the shore, indicating the venerable age of the water bodies.

Since the lakes are located in the Fann Mountains, the height difference between them is significant - 760 m. The lowest one is at an altitude of 1640 m above sea level, the highest - at an altitude of 2400 m. We will visit all seven lakes in a comfortable SUV: drive along the serpentine road, enjoy the best views, and have a light picnic in a picturesque spot.

• The tour will be conducted by me or another guide from our team
• The length of the route is 120 km one way. Without counting the stops, it will take no more than 1 hour. Passing the border between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan at the Jartepa-Sarazm checkpoint - about 10 minutes.
• Wear comfortable clothing and bring a headgear. We recommend taking a first aid kit and taking tablets if you suffer from motion sickness - as we will drive on a serpentine road between the lakes.
• If there are more than 3 people, you can rent suitable transportation for an additional fee (upon request).

What is included and not included in the price

• Transfer and guide accompaniment are included in the tour
• Food for the picnic is not included in the price - you bring it yourself (please, keep it moderate - a light snack is expected)
