About this experience
In the Fans Mountains there are over 30 lakes. But the Marguzor Lakes are more impressive than others. It feels like a giant artist spent a long time mixing shades from lapis lazuli to ultramarine on a natural palette. What beauty has turned out - you will see for yourself! Along the way, you will enjoy the landscapes and get to know the locals. The guide will tell you about Tajikistan, nature, and local customs. It will be beautiful and informative!
What to expect
- We will head to the southwest Pamiro-Alai. In 40 minutes, we will reach the border between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Cross it in 20-30 minutes. And drive along the mountain serpentine roads to get acquainted with the region.
- Along the way, we will visit a local mountain village. You will see how the descendants of ancient peoples live. Communicate with them - learn about their way of life and hear local legends.
- Then we will visit the Marguzor Lakes: Mizhgon, Soy, Khusher, Nofin, Khurdak, Marguzor, and Hazorchashmu. They are scattered in the Shing Valley in the Fans Mountains.
- The last lake, Hazorchashma, is located at an altitude of over 2400 meters above sea level. Local residents say, 'Whoever reaches it will find happiness.' And we will definitely make it here!
- And then, happy and energized by nature, we will have a picnic in a picturesque corner of the Fans Mountains
