About this experience
Seven Lakes, Haftkul, Marguzor Lakes - these are all names for the same fabulous lake sanctuary deep in the Fann Mountains. That's where we are heading! Along the way, we will stop in mountain villages and get to know the locals. And of course, we will talk about life in the mountains: the peculiarities of everyday life, traditions, and not always true stereotypes.
What to expect
Our journey will be dedicated to the fantastic nature of Tajikistan, which few know about. The Fann Mountains will amaze you with their power and grandeur, and the lakes - with the astonishing blue water. There is a road between the first six lakes, and we will overcome it by car. If you decide to also see the seventh lake, you will have to walk about 2.5 km one way. We recommend bringing snacks with you - then we can have a picnic with a picturesque view.
Organizational details
- I or another guide from our team will conduct the tour for you
- Travel time to the border - 1 hour, crossing the border on foot - half an hour, driving from the border to the lakes 80 km (with stops about 3 hours)
- The excursion is held in a comfortable SUV. Transport is included in the price.
- Upon request, we can organize a tour for a larger group of participants
- Meals are paid for separately. We recommend bringing food for a picnic.
