About this experience
I invite you to spend a day surrounded by fantastic landscapes! You will see the famous Charvak Reservoir with azure water and two mountain lakes - Lower and Upper Urunghach. A picturesque trail runs between them, which we will definitely walk along. On the way, I will keep you entertained and tell you a lot of interesting facts about the traditions and peculiarities of life in the mountain settlements of Uzbekistan.
What to expect
70 km from Tashkent - and we are at the picturesque Charvak Reservoir with bright turquoise water. We will drive along the left bank and appreciate it from different angles. On the way, we will pass by the mountain village Karabulak and two rivers: Chirchik and Pskem. Our main goal will be the Urunghach lakes, located in a valley of pristine beauty. First, we will reach the edge of the transparent Lower lake. And then we will hike up to the Upper lake, which is called 'jade' because of the color of the water. You can swim in the lakes - but keep in mind that they are of glacial origin and are never warm.
Organizational details
- The tour is conducted in a car-walking format. Transportation is included in the price.
- We will walk about 2 km, the trekking level is easy. Suitable for people with any physical fitness.
- Optionally, you can drive the walking section to the Lower lake by jeep. An additional fee will be around $10.
- Meals are available at an additional cost.
