What to Expect
Sternberk Castle - a majestic 13th-century building on a cliff. You will hear about the Sternberk family - the owners of this house - and find out where their noble descendants live today. Examine the interiors of the castle, understand how they managed to preserve the ancient furniture and paintings, and imagine the life of Czech nobles in the Middle Ages.
Kostnice Bone Chapel - After a rest, you will head to the outskirts of Kutna Hora, to a UNESCO monument known around the world. The interior of the chapel, made of human bones, will impress with its terrifying aesthetics, and the guide will tell you the history of the Bone Chapel and its 'exhibits'.
Kutna Hora - once the richest city in the Czech Republic. You will learn what elevated it and what is special about the local monuments. Explore the medieval cobblestone streets, be charmed by the cozy alleys, and learn about the movies filmed here. In addition, the route will include the Cathedral of St. Barbara, the Gothic Stone House, the Gradec Residence, the Jesuit College, and the Mint.
