About this experience
German settlements appeared in Georgia in the early 19th century. At first, the locals were wary of foreigners, but soon the colonists created a new world here: they brought their crafts and specialties, in Kartli appeared half-timbered buildings and churches, German architects worked in Tbilisi and the concept of 'Georgian German' was born. On the tour, you will discover a special page in the history of Georgia and see how an entire world can disappear in just a day.
