What to expect
Central Market: a riot of tastes and colors
We will visit the Central Market of Budapest, built in the 19th century. We will admire its architecture with neo-Gothic elements and taste local delicacies: sausages, cheeses. Together we will be amazed by the variety of their shapes, flavors, sizes, and production methods. You will also hear interesting facts and legends: about the cute woolly pig, the 'hairy Hungarians' and the bearded man on the Danube wave.
Pest and gastronomic specialties
You will leisurely stroll through the non-touristic alleys of Old Pest, while continuing to get acquainted with the unique Hungarian cuisine. We will definitely try hurka - a local type of liver sausage, loved by the poor and the rich, adults and children. We will also taste langos - fried flatbread cooked in hot oil. It is usually served with garlic sauce, sour cream, and cheese. Our gastronomic adventure will end with a sip of traditional Hungarian wine, hungaric.
