About this experience
Ask an Italian about Piedmont, what comes to mind? First of all - wines, cheeses, delicious sausages, and incredibly picturesque places with fascinating stories. I invite you to travel from Turin to Barolo for local delicacies and beauties! You will learn about the history of winemaking, visit the marquis' castle and the Corkscrew Museum, taste vintage wine, and try the best dishes of Piedmont cuisine.
What to expect
I will introduce you to the history of winemaking, immerse ourselves in the atmosphere in which the marquises of Barolo lived and for a symbolic fee, try vintage samples of the famous Barolo wine. We will visit three wine producers together, taste their wines, snacks, sausages, and cheeses, stroll around the surroundings, visit the Barolo marquis' castle, wine museum, and Corkscrew Museum. The Corkscrew Museum is something incredible, here are collected 500 corkscrews from all over the world. ;)
And at my close friend Lino's small family restaurant in Barolo, we can try dishes from Piedmont cuisine - the finest and most soulful.
