About this experience
Turin is an amazing city with elegant architecture, alpine views, and long arcades along its central streets. I will tell you what impressed Nietzsche the most here, how Turin is similar to France, where the mystique comes from, and why it became the birthplace of chocolate. I will also show you the city's 'landmarks' and take you to the bull that brings luck!
What to expect
The very best of Turin
Strolling through the historic center, you will see Turin's main attractions: the Mole Antonelliana tower, Palazzo Madama Cristina and Carignano, the Royal Palace, and the church of Gran Madre in neoclassical style. You will also visit the San Giovanni Battista Cathedral, where the most important Christian relic is kept - the Shroud of Turin. You will walk along the Po River and through the Royal Gardens, admire the Palatine Gate, and learn how the Romans built the city. Additionally, you will see the oldest university and hear about the city's 'black and white heart'.
Inside Turin
Turin is the birthplace of chocolate. In one of the ancient cafes, you can taste a bicerin drink based on coffee, chocolate, and cream with typical Piedmontese chocolates called gianduiotti. At the end, I will share valuable recommendations from a local resident and talk about the best viewpoints, restaurants, shops, and museums in Turin.
