About this experience
Join me on a rich and picturesque journey! You will see the legendary Mount Fuji, ride a funicular and a pirate ship, enjoy the peaceful Lake Ashi, and try black eggs in the Valley of Geysers. I will unravel the mysteries of the enigmatic Japanese culture and ensure that this day stays memorable for you.
What to expect
A stroll around Lake Ashi and breathtaking views of Fuji
I will show you the best angles of Mount Fuji and tell you how many times it has been painted by artists, which deities, according to local legends, live on it, and why the Japanese are so proud of it. In addition to Fuji, you will encounter another amazing natural attraction - the mountain-surrounded Lake Ashi. Sailing on a stylized pirate ship, you will see brightly red gates against a picturesque forest background and hear the legend of a dragon and a monk who founded a Shinto shrine by the water.
Valley of Boiling Geysers, natural springs, and Picasso sculptures
A cable car will take you to the Owakudani Valley of Boiling Geysers, located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the Hakone mountains and observe volcanic smoke rising right before your eyes. Additionally, you can taste the famous black eggs and find out if they can really extend your life by seven years. To conclude, you will visit natural springs and an open-air sculpture museum, including works by Picasso.
