About this experience
I invite you to break free from the bustling metropolis for 1 day and head to Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park! You will admire Mount Fuji and stroll along Lake Ashi, enjoying the scent of cedar trees. Visit a traditional Japanese garden and village where craftsmen reside. And if desired, relax in hot springs overlooking the mountain landscape.
What to Expect
Traditional Japanese Garden. Feed the colorful carps in the pond and admire the tea house erected by the head of the powerful samurai clan Tokugawa. I will decode the landscape features of Japanese gardens.
Craft Village. Learn about ancient woodcraft techniques that have gained international recognition. Also, marvel at the works of local craftsmen.
Hot Springs (optional). We will visit one of the famous onsens, where you can take healing hot baths with a view of the mountain landscape.
Lake Ashi. Stroll along the banks of the beautiful Lake Ashi amidst huge Japanese cedars. Discover the history of this place and admire the picturesque surroundings of the lake from the observation deck.
Samurai Checkpoint. I will show you a recreated part of the famous Tokaido trail. You will see wooden structures that served as barracks and prisons, gaining insight into the lives of soldiers and ordinary Japanese people.

- Travel time from Tokyo to the park is about 2 hours one way
- Transportation is included in the price.
- The tour is conducted in a Subaru Legacy sedan. Comfortable capacity: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It may be uncomfortable for 4 adults.
- Entrance tickets are not included in the price: Samurai Checkpoint - 500 yen per person, observation deck at the lake - 500 yen per person, hot springs - around 1000 yen per person
