About this experience
Rome impresses not only with its monumental beauty, but also with its ability to organically combine ancient heritage with the life of a modern metropolis. To immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Ancient Rome, we will walk from the Colosseum to the Pantheon, covering all the ancient landmarks of the Eternal City. Before your eyes, stories of Roman emperors, ancient legends, and the customs of a city filled with beauty, triumph, and grandeur will come to life.
What to Expect
The Colosseum - Heart of the Roman Empire
Our walk will start at the Colosseum, symbolizing the former greatness of Ancient Rome. You will learn about the creation of the legendary structure, hear stories about Roman emperors, and the 'repertoire' of the Colosseum, which included gladiatorial battles, sea battles, and fights with wild animals.
Explore the Legacy of Ancient Rome
At the Arch of Constantine, we will talk about how Christianity became the state religion of the Roman Empire. From the viewpoints, you will see the Roman Forums - an open-air museum with pagan temples, columns, arches, and imperial palaces. You will hear legends about Romulus and Remus, get an idea of the daily life of ancient Romans, and at Torre Argentina Square, uncover the tragic mystery of Julius Caesar's assassination. And, of course, you will admire the amazing Pantheon - the temple of all gods, which Michelangelo himself called 'a creation of angels'.
Stories and Legends of Capitoline Hill
Climbing Capitoline Hill, you will learn about the main ancient Roman temple dedicated to Jupiter, Juno, and Minerva. I will tell you about the events related to this place: the reconstruction of the square according to Michelangelo's project, the salvation of Rome by geese, bird flight divination, where the first coins were minted, and the functions of the administrative center of ancient Rome.
Vibrant Streets of the Jewish Quarter
In the small district of the Jewish Ghetto, you will touch the centuries-old history of this place, taste traditional dishes of Roman taverns, and visit the cafe where Joseph Brodsky stopped for a cup of coffee. In this area, you will also find another ancient landmark - the Portico of Octavia, built by order of Emperor Augustus, and the little gem of Rome - the Turtle Fountain, which also holds its own legend.

There was a constant feeling of rushing. However, we had no other choice because we were very tired and wouldn't have managed a ...
