About this experience
City on the rocks. Birthplace of bullfighting. Place that inspired Hemingway and other writers. Whether you want to feel the romance on the narrow picturesque streets or indulge in philosophical reflections while watching storks on the rooftops - it's up to you. I will make your acquaintance with Ronda informative and memorable!
What to expect
Ronda in the arms of cliffs
Ancient Andalusian town nestled between two steep cliffs, separated by a gorge. To admire this view, we will stroll through parks and alleys with breathtaking views. Here you will also see an impressive stone bridge that connects two parts of the city. Then in La Ciudad - the old Moorish town - you will wander through the labyrinth of narrow streets and try to capture the Arabic spirit in the architecture of the buildings. And as you walk along the Alley of Fame of bullfighters, you may shudder at the thought of the fights that took place here in the past. At the end of the two-hour walk, I will show you the best city panorama with a glass of the legendary local wine!
About writers, bullfighters, and other interesting facets of the city's history
Why weren't the builders afraid to construct Ronda in such a dangerous place? What led to the emergence of bullfighting here? Why did Hemingway call the city the best place for a honeymoon?
