From Istanbul to Cappadocia for 2 days!

What to expect

Day 1: Northern Cappadocia

The journey will start early in the morning (at 4:00-4:30). An individual transfer will take you to the airport. A 1.5-hour flight - and you are in Cappadocia, the "Land of Beautiful Horses." You will reach the starting point of the excursion with our group transfer. On the first day, you will visit:

• Uchisar, the fortress city, where you will delve into the history of the Hittite civilization and admire the panoramas from the observation deck;
• The open-air museum of Goreme - perhaps the most famous attraction in Cappadocia. These are numerous cliff monasteries: you will learn why and how they appeared;
• The Valleys of Love, Monks (Pashabag), and Imagination (Devrent). Each has its own features: you will encounter long stone pillars, sandy dunes, and mushroom-shaped rock formations;
• The pottery town of Avanos. You will visit a workshop-museum where you will get acquainted with the traditional local art.

At 17:00-17:30, the transfer will take you to your cave hotel.

Day 2: Southern Cappadocia

The second day will start with a fairy-tale hot air balloon flight (optional, extra charge applies). Afterward, there will be time to have breakfast at the hotel. The guide will meet you in the lobby at 9:30, and you will set out to explore the south of Cappadocia. The program includes:

• The best view of the Goreme labyrinths from the observation deck;
• The underground city of Derinkuyu. You will descend 54 meters underground, hear about the city's inhabitants from different times, and uncover a couple of ancient secrets;
• The Ihlara Valley and the Selime Monastery - a stone canyon with a wild river and trees, which is visited less frequently by tourists;
• An observation deck with a view of Pigeon Valley, where these birds live, and Turkish "blue eyes" hanging on trees.
• During the day, the program also includes visits to an onyx factory (Cappadocia is famous for its rare blue onyx) and a tasting of Cappadocian coffee (it is free and will take about half an hour).

After the excursion, a group transfer will take you to the airport. Upon arrival in Istanbul, an individual transfer will take you to your hotel.

Read before booking

• The exact time of departure from Istanbul is discussed in correspondence (it is possible to adjust to your preferences)
• You will stay in a separate room: we do not accommodate travelers with strangers
• The excursions in Cappadocia on the 1st and 2nd days are conducted in small groups of up to 14 people with a licensed Russian-speaking guide

Tour cancellation

• In case of tour cancellation from your side, half of the cost is non-refundable in any case (as I pre-book flights and hotels for you)
• If you cancel the tour more than 72 hours before the tour start (04:00), we will refund half of the cost
• If you cancel the tour less than 72 hours before the tour start (04:00), the payment is completely non-refundable

• Flight tickets (Istanbul-Cappadocia/Cappadocia-Istanbul)
• All transfers: individual transfer in Istanbul (hotel-airport-hotel), shuttle transfers in Cappadocia
• 1 night in a "standard" room at a cozy comfortable cave hotel (CAVE HOTEL)
