About this experience
Every region of France competes for the title of the best, and I invite you to make sure that the South-West of France is absolutely incredible! To do this, we will go to the city of Arcachon, to the largest sand dunes in Europe. And in the picturesque fishing village, you will visit the oyster museum and taste delicacies. Along the way, you will hear stories about the region and the local way of life.
What to expect
Beauty and harmony of Arcachon
It's truly incredible here: sandy beaches stretch out for 250 kilometers, pine trees, sea, and tranquility. From here you can see the ocean and Cape Ferret with its red lighthouse, in the summer you can swim here, although the water is colder than on the Cote d'Azur, but significantly warmer than in Normandy. We will climb to the top of the sand dune and find ourselves above the forest and water, and then head to the picturesque fishing village Gujan Mestras - the birthplace of Arcachon oysters.
All about oysters
You will visit the oyster museum, where you will learn everything about local life, as well as understand the varieties of oysters. You can enjoy this delicacy right in a fisherman's hut. During the trip, I will tell you about the region, the history of these places, and the features of life here in different times.
