Lecate Lagoon: oyster farm and tasting (optional)
On the French Mediterranean coast, near the border with Spain, lies the picturesque Lecate lagoon - a paradise for windsurfers and lovers of fresh oysters. Here, these mollusks are successfully grown using a technology that has hardly changed in the last century. The delicacies from local merchants have a special delicate taste - and you will personally experience this.

You will visit the farm and see how mollusks are grown. You will taste freshly caught oysters in the tasting room. You will be offered a delicate white wine with a slice of lemon and bread with Breton butter - this is how the tasting of this exquisite delicacy is traditionally accompanied. And if you do not know how to open the shells, you will be taught.

Interesting points in Collioure
We will show you the royal castle, built by counts and kings of Aragon. In the 13th-14th centuries, it was inhabited by the kings of Majorca. In 1922, the castle received the status of a historical monument.

Another attraction of the city is Notre Dame des Anges (church of Our Lady of the Angels). Once its tower served as a lighthouse.

And you will also walk along a pedestrian street in the Old Town, where you will see reproductions of paintings made by Henri Matisse and Andre Derain in the summer of 1905. Essentially, you will walk the path of Fauvism.
