About this experience
I invite you to explore the picturesque surroundings of Almaty! You will breathe in the crystal clear air, admire the snow-capped mountains, and brightly green spruces. Experience zen at an altitude of 3200 meters, visit an authentic Kazakh yurt and learn about local traditions, culture, and cuisine.
What to expect
Cable car and high-altitude skating rink Medeo
Avoiding the ticket lines, we will board the cable car and "fly" over majestic mountains adorned with emerald spruces. Along the way, we will see the highest skating rink in the world - Medeo, where legendary figure skaters Rodnina and Zaytsev performed. I will reveal the secrets behind two hundred world records at Medeo and why it was opened twice.
Chimbulak, yurt, and Kazakh tea
At the Chimbulak resort, we will stop for a short walk and a photo shoot. You will learn who brought the skiing theme to Almaty and how our places are connected to Elbrus. Then we will move on - to an altitude of 3200 meters! Admire the panoramic views of snowy peaks, the valley, and the city. Enjoy Kazakh tea, visit a yurt, and learn how it is assembled.
