Join us on an exciting journey near Almaty! You will see the incredible high-mountain waterfall Butakov, visit the world's largest ice rink Medeo, and take a cable car ride to the observation deck of Shymbulak. We will provide comfortable transportation, share interesting facts, and ensure that you have only pleasant memories.
What to expect
- Butakov waterfall, located at an altitude of up to 2900 meters. On the way to it, you will enjoy mountain landscapes and centuries-old spruces. In winter, the waterfall freezes, turning into a 40-meter blue icy pillar. In summer, you can approach the water and explore the streams from the inside. You will admire the beauty of the waterfall, and we will tell you the story behind its name.
- Medeo - the largest high-mountain ice rink in the world and a monument of urban planning and architecture. You will learn how many world records were set here, making it into the Guinness Book of Records. You can walk around the area and see the huge ice rink from above. Optionally, you can rent skates and skate.
- Shymbulak ski resort. You will take a cable car ride to the observation deck and enjoy a beautiful view of the Zailiysky Alatau mountain range and Almaty. Optionally, you can take a second cable car ride even higher - almost to the stars - and see the mountains and gorges from the bird's eye view.

08:30–09:00 - group gathering and departure from Almaty
10:00 - arrival at Butakov waterfall, walk
12:00 - arrival at Medeo ice rink, walk
13:30 - cable car ride to Shymbulak resort, walk
16:00 - departure to the city of Almaty
17:00 - arrival in Almaty

- Included in the price: transfer, eco fees for the waterfall, guide accompaniment
