About this experience
The Almaty region is home to several lakes where people gather to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. With us, you will visit two lakes in one day, relax by the water, and have a photoshoot. The guide will tell you the amazing story of the formation of Kaindy and Kolsai Lakes and the legends behind their names.
What to Expect
Kaindy Lake
Located in a valley amidst mountains. The main attraction is the submerged forest immersed in the cool mountain water of turquoise color.
Kolsai Lake
Surrounded by ancient spruce forest where you can walk along forest paths. There is an opportunity to ride horses, boats, and catamarans.
Route Details and Timing
06:00 – meeting and departure from Almaty
10:00 – walk around Kaindy Lake, time for photos
13:00-14:00 – lunch
14:00-16:00 – Kolsai Lake, time for photos, walk
16:00-20:00 – return to Almaty
Organizational Details
- After making an advance payment on the website, you need to pay the remaining cost of the tour at least 48 hours before the start.
- Refund or date change rules:
— if more than 72 hours left before the tour, 100% refund is possible
— if there are less than 72 hours but more than 48 hours left, ticket exchange for another date is possible.
— less than 48 hours, refund and ticket exchange are not possible - Bring your passport.
- Children under 2 years old or weighing up to 12 kg require their own car seat or carrier (carrying children on hands or laps is prohibited)
- Unaccompanied minors are not allowed (age verification may be required by ID)
