About this experience
During this one-day journey you will visit several must-see places in the Almaty region. You will discover the amazing landscapes of the Charyn Canyon, walk along the picturesque route to the Charyn River, explore the most spectacular part of the canyon - the Valley of Castles. You will also admire the surreal picture of the 'sunken forest' in Lake Kaindy and enjoy the mountain Lake Kolsai.
What to expect
06:00 - 06:30 Meet up and departure from Almaty
09:30 - 11:30 Walk through Charyn Canyon (descending to the Valley of Castles and walking to the Charyn River), time for photos
12:00 - 12:30 Black Canyon
13:00 - 14:00 Lunch at a cafe or guesthouse
14:00 - 16:00 Drive as close as possible to Kaindy Lake, short trek to the lake on foot, by UAZ car, or on horses, time for photos, walk
17:00 - 18:30 Arrival at Kolsai Lake, rest, time for photos, walk
18:30 - 22:00 Return journey to Almaty

Organizational details
- After making an advance payment on the website, you must pay the remaining cost of the tour by transfer to a Russian card at least 48 hours before the trip begins (you will receive the details after booking).
- Included in the price: transfer in a comfortable minivan with a professional driver, first aid kit
- Additional expenses: entrance tickets (eco fees) - 2700 tenge per person, cash only accepted; meals - you can bring your own or have lunch at a cafe
- The trip does not involve extensive storytelling from the driver-guide. He will show you the maximum, but the main goal is to enjoy the natural locations, take photos and videos.
