What to Expect
Path to the Mountain of the Gods
Our first stop on the route is the Millomeris Waterfall, the largest in Cyprus. On a hot day, it's a pleasant place to relax and cool off, you can even take a swim or capture great photos. The Artemis Trail will guide you around Olympus: the route is easy, as it mostly stays at the same altitude, without descents or ascents. You will bypass the mountain, hear legends and myths of the region along the way, and learn about the unique features of the local nature. And, of course, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Troodos mountains!
Quaint Village
Next, we will visit the picturesque village of Kakopetria: unravel the mystery of its name, hear about local sights, and learn about the traditions and ways of the residents. At one of the village craftsmen's workshops, you can try local products and sweets, then, at a family winery, you can taste Cypriot wine. The introduction to national cuisine will take place at one of the mountain village taverns.
