You will also visit ancient settlements with traditional lifestyle, stop by a family winery, and a glassblowing workshop!
What to expect
Colorful local villages
Omodos will charm you with its authentic Cypriot village, developed winemaking, and ancient monastery of the Holy Cross. Platres village will amaze you with the beauty of the mountain landscapes and British architecture. Additionally, you will visit a wine museum where you will taste local drinks and sweets, get acquainted with village crafts, and visit a glassblowing workshop - continuing the Venetian traditions.
Walk along the picturesque Caledonia trail
The rocky path through dense forest along the river will reveal the peculiarities of local flora and fauna and lead you to the Caledonia waterfall. Located at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level, it is considered one of the most beautiful places in Cyprus. To conclude, you will taste farm products from one of the village masters, visit a traditional family winery, and try the national cuisine in a colorful mountain tavern.
