What to Expect

Our tour will start in the Asakusa district, where the spirit of old Tokyo is preserved. Here we will:

• Discover the differences between Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines
• See the Thunder Gate - one of the highlights of the district
• Stroll down the street leading to one of the oldest Buddhist temples, where you can try Japanese sweets and buy souvenirs
• Have our fortunes told and purchase amulets for all occasions at the Sensō-ji Temple - the main attraction of Asakusa.

Then we will head to the waterfront, offering one of the most popular and picturesque views of Tokyo with the Asahi beer buildings symbolizing a torch and a beer mug with foam, and the second tallest Skytree Tower in the world.

By metro or taxi (according to your preference), we will reach the former hunting grounds of the Tokugawa clan, where the Hamarikyu Park is located, whose landscape has remained unchanged for about 200 years.
There we can visit one of the tea houses, where you can taste matcha tea with traditional sweets and enjoy the view that once delighted the Tokugawa clan shoguns, surrounded by modern skyscrapers.

Depending on the day of the week, we can replace Hamarikyu Park with a visit to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace (closed on Mondays and Fridays).

As the evening approaches, we will arrive at the most expensive Tokyo district, Ginza, where you can find stores of leading global brands, numerous cafes and restaurants, and the Kabuki Theater.
