History and Main Sights of Corfu
You will stroll through the ancient streets of the magnificent island capital - Kerkyra - visit the church of St. Spyridon and approach the eternal relics of the patron saint of Corfu. Visit the Achilleion Palace, built by the Austrian Empress Elisabeth, and uncover the secrets of its inhabitants. Be impressed by the Zoodochos Pigi Monastery in Paleokastritsa and admire its miraculous icons. You will also enjoy the Vlacherna Mother of God Monastery and the tiny Pontikonisi Island next to Corfu.
Boat Ride and Introduction to Local Crafts
Corfu is famous not only for its rich history, but also for its wonderful views, gastronomic traditions, and the friendly nature of the locals. You will take a boat ride through the bays and grottoes of the Adriatic Sea, enjoy the island panoramas from the water, and taste dishes of the national cuisine in a tavern on the shore of the Ionian Sea.
