About this experience
I invite you to a fantastically beautiful journey through the northwestern part of Corfu! You will ascend to the Angelokastro fortress and the "Kaiser's Throne", visit a picturesque tavern, explore a monastery with a miraculous icon, and see the island from different perspectives. And I will reveal how it was formed, how life is built here, and why the Greeks live so long.
What to Expect
Breathtaking Panoramas
We will drive through incredibly picturesque places. The excursion program includes:
- Angelokastro Fortress - one of the highest fortresses on the island, offering a stunning view of the surroundings. I will share interesting facts from the history of the fortress and reveal why it is called the "Angel's Castle".
- Resort of Paleokastritsa - the most picturesque part of Corfu. You will admire a whole cascade of rocky bays with transparent turquoise water and cozy beaches from above. And I will share legends associated with these places.
We will take a boat trip to its wonderful caves, make a stop for swimming at the eco-friendly "Paradise" beach, awarded the blue flag, which can only be reached by water.
- "Kaiser's Throne" - a viewpoint at the top of the cliff. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the island: seas, emerald hills, charming towns, and villages.
- Traditional Tavern - you will taste Greek cuisine dishes and, if you wish, learn a few local recipes.
