What to expect
History of the village of Masca
Just 50 years ago, there was no road here, and the village could only be reached by riding a donkey over the pass or walking from the bay about 8 km away. We will travel with you by car along a mountain serpentine, enjoying picturesque views. You will hear an interesting and slightly mysterious story about the history of the village, pirates, treasures, and the modern life of these places. You will learn how it was founded, what legend is associated with its name, and be surprised by the biographies of some colorful personalities.
Authentic town of Garachico
Garachico was the first capital of Tenerife, or more precisely, the first center of the island's economic and transport life. Today it is a charming provincial town, where the old fortress and the city cathedral in the old center have been preserved. If the weather permits, you can bathe in lava pools with ocean water, and later - have lunch in one of the local restaurants.
