What to Expect
Hilly and Picturesque Buda
Buda is an ancient and very picturesque district of the city. You will stroll through the territory of the Royal Palace, see the majestic fountain 'Hunter of King Matthias', and explore all the corners of Buda Castle. By climbing up Gellért Hill, you will enjoy breathtaking views and observe the ancient Citadel and the Statue of Liberty.
Pest: History at Every Step
Crossing the Chain Bridge to Pest, you will admire Heroes' Square, walk through Millennium Park, and greet Anonymous. Moving along Andrassy Avenue, you will reach St. Stephen's Basilica, see the monument to Soviet soldiers at Freedom Square, learn where Reagan was rushing to, as well as admire the magnificent Parliament, the Gresham Palace, and the Academy of Sciences. You will also light a candle at the shoe monument dedicated to Holocaust victims.
