About this experience
Kuala Lumpur with its incredible dynamics, a volatile mix of cultures, and architectural contrasts is not easy to understand - but we will help you to cope with this task! During the sightseeing walk, you will explore the colonial and modern symbols of the city, learn about the local life, and understand how Kuala Lumpur has transformed from an empty field into a metropolis over 150 years.
What to expect
A crash course on Kuala Lumpur: What? Where? When?
How was Kuala Lumpur founded? How do three cultures and religions peacefully coexist in the city? What sets apart the modern Malaysian society - what habits, customs, favorite dishes, and holidays do locals have? We will discuss all of this during the walk.
We will also advise you on where to go, how to get around the city, how to exchange currency, where to find the most delicious street food and the best shopping deals. In general, we will try to give you the most comprehensive "user manual" for Kuala Lumpur!

The weather in Kuala Lumpur is around +31 degrees Celsius year-round, with high humidity and possible precipitation. We have purposely designed the route to spend as much time as possible in the shade or in air-conditioned places. We recommend moving around with a covered head and having a water bottle with you.
