About this experience
Khan El Khalili Market is not only the oldest bazaar in Africa, but also a place of attraction for Egyptians at any time of the day. I invite you to explore this place in the evening, when the city rests from the daytime heat, and the market stalls fill with the atmosphere of the Arabic night. We will delve into the culture of Egypt through the works of craftsmen, talk about the history of Cairo, and breathe the cool air with hints of spices.
What to Expect
Evening Walk Cairo Style!
I will pick you up from the hotel when the sun is just starting to approach the horizon. Are you ready to see Cairo as it was 1000 years ago? We will head to the heart of the city to stroll through ancient streets and labyrinthine bazaars like true Egyptians, stop for a cup of coffee at traditional cafes. My goal is to immerse you in the atmosphere of authentic Cairo, help you feel like locals, and guide you through the most interesting pages of the city's history.
Khan El Khalili: Treasure Chest
Let's not forget that we are in one of the most colorful places in Cairo: noisy and crowded during the day, in the evening Khan El Khalili takes on a special atmosphere, when the flow of buyers subsides, and among the sellers are those for whom trading is not just a job, but a true art. We will stop at stalls with products of local craftsmen, admire jewelry and antiques, inhale the scents of spices, feel the Arab carpets and leather accessories. And if you want to buy something, I will give you useful tips and help you bargain!
