About this experience
Many travelers are convinced that there is nothing to see in Cairo. We will prove to you that this is not the case! Cairo is an ancient, vibrant, colorful, and multifaceted city. There is everything here: ancient bustling bazaars, modern districts with skyscrapers, Eastern palaces, and European-style buildings. You will see it all! And you will also take a sailboat cruise on the Nile on a felucca.
What to expect
Moez Street and Khan el-Khalili Market. You will visit the oldest and largest market in modern Africa, first mentioned in the Early Middle Ages.
Cairo Nilometer. We will show you an amazing ancient construction - a deep square well with an octagonal column for measuring water in the Nile. We will tell you how it works and whether it is still in use today.
Manial Palace. Ottoman, Mauritanian, Persian, Rococo - the Cairo palace combines all these styles. Built in 1903 for Prince Muhammad Ali, it will amaze you with the luxury and elegance of its interiors.
Nile Walk. You will take a sailboat cruise on a felucca, enjoying the panoramas of modern Cairo.
Downtown and Tahrir Square. The very center of the city with eclectic architecture combining Eastern and European motifs.
