About this experience
Life in Sharm el-Sheikh starts to bubble after the sun sets. It is at this time that you can feel the true vibe of the city. An evening walk in Sharm will introduce you to the variety of religions and the unique combination of traditional East and modernity. And the familiar sights, adorned with lighting, will seem unusual and mesmerizing.
What to expect
- El Mustafa Mosque will amaze you with its grandeur. Before the construction of El Sahaba Mosque, El Mustafa was the largest mosque in the city. Unfortunately, you won't be able to enter inside, but you can take excellent photos from outside - El Mustafa is magically illuminated in the evenings. You will also learn more about Islam in general and its peculiarities in Egypt.
- Sama Inn Coptic Church. It has many differences from the orthodox churches you are familiar with - both in architecture and worship. You can enter inside and even witness a service, while also getting acquainted with the nuances of the Christian religion in Egypt.
- Old Market in the Old Town. The largest, oldest, and cheapest market in Sharm. This is the place to go for the color of a true eastern bazaar. And make sure to haggle with the vendors to immerse yourself in this art form.
- On the concert platform in the center of the Old Market, you can watch eastern dances or a vibrant snake charmer show. You will also admire the new El Sahaba Mosque - the largest and most beautiful in the city. Then we will head to a beautiful spot where we will enjoy the panorama of Sharm el-Sheikh and see the sun setting behind the horizon.
- Farsha Cafe on Ras Um Sid reef. The cafe is built on a cliff, offering a breathtaking view of the bay from any point. 'Farsha' is an Arabic word meaning a window frame or doorframe. Inside, you will be transported to the atmosphere of Ancient Egypt and have the opportunity to smoke a hookah.
- El Fanar Beach. It is beautiful at sunrise, sunset, and deep into the night. The splash of the sea against the rocks, the reflection of the moon, the light of the lighthouse - magic and romance.
- Soho Square. Perhaps the most Europeanized place in the eastern city with many picturesque locations for beautiful shots - interesting sculptures, fountains with color music, and bright lighting. The stores offer unobtrusive service, which is rare in Sharm, but prices are higher than in the Old Town.
