About this experience
Even the Romans themselves leave the capital to eat well. You will explore the culinary traditions of the wonderful Lazio region and learn from local masters how excellent wine, oil, meat, and cheeses are produced. You will taste all the best and love Italy even more!
What to expect
Secrets of the cheese factory and winery
You will visit a cheese factory where three generations have been making Pecorino sheep cheese. You will taste soft and hard cheeses - including delicious ricotta - and uncover the secrets of their production. You will also hear which product from the cheese factory the European Commission selected to send into space! Next, if you wish, we will go to a winery where an oenologist will tell you how good wine is made for export, elite restaurants, and local gourmets.
Prosciutto, salami, and 'yellow gold'
You will visit a charming town famous for its meat delicacies. You will learn why Roman politicians love to come here for lunch and, if you wish, taste prosciutto and salami. Finally, you will enjoy a tasting of olive oil, which is called 'yellow gold' here. You will learn to distinguish real high-quality cold-pressed oil, rich in polyphenols and beneficial for health.

It was the best tour during our entire trip to Italy. I think Tripster was created for such tours. Truly a local experience. My wife and I felt like we were visiting old friends, with whom it was very pleasant to spend the whole day. Thank you very much for the most interesting day in Italy 🇮🇹
