About this experience
I invite you to a rich and incredibly picturesque journey through Karachay-Cherkessia! This is a land of mountain valleys, pristine forests, and friendly people. You will see the rocky peaks of the Main Caucasian Ridge led by the snow-capped Elbrus, visit Teberdinsky Reserve, and take a ride on a chairlift. And I will share local traditions, history, and legends with you.
What to expect
Teberdinsky Reserve and Gumbashi Pass
You will ride through the high-mountain Gumbashi Pass, enjoying views of the Main Caucasian Ridge and Elbrus. You will also visit Teberdinsky Reserve with crystal clear rivers, the ancient Sentinsky Temple, and the black Lake Karakel of glacial origin. Along the way, I will keep you entertained and tell you about the indigenous peoples of Karachay-Cherkessia: their culture, traditions, religion, and cuisine.
Dombay Meadow and cable car
At Dombay Meadow, you will visit a traditional market and taste khychins in a national cafe. Then, you will take a cable car ride to the observation platform at the top of Mount Mussa-Achitara. You will admire the pine forest, snowy peaks, and alpine meadows. If you still have energy, you can stroll along mountain trails to glaciers and waterfalls.

- Entrance tickets are not included in the price: eco-fee in Dombay - 250 rubles per person, cable car - from 800 rubles to 2000 rubles/standard ticket and from 600 rubles to 1500 rubles/discounted ticket (depending on the chosen fare)
